*Warning Dark Poetry*
When I get hurt by someone I care about, I will get like this…
I won’t get sad, I won’t cry, but I will push people away from me to protect my heart and don’t let anyone see how devastated I am.
I will not allow you to get close or tell you what’s wrong.
Really have to work on that!
I got showered by awards again! I am totally stunned!

Thank you so much! Jane also dedicated a quote to me: Remember always that you not only have the right to be an individual, you have an obligation to be one. Eleanor Roosevelt
The Semper Fidelis Award
I created this award because I wanted to do something special for my friends on WordPress. Semper Fidelis is Latin and means Always Loyal. Loyalty means the world to me. I am very loyal myself, but I’ve got major trust issues as well. And I think trust is very important if you are sharing so much of yourself with people you meet through the internet. So I am working on that! 🙂 Why the wolves? Because wolves have very strong ties with their pack. Like a family or a great group of friends. And I just love them! This award stands for the loyalty and love between friends.
The Rules:
- Add the Semper Fidelis Award logo somewhere on your blog.
- Thank the person who nominated you and link back to their blog.
- Nominate 5 bloggers who’s loyalty and friendship you value and you consider being part of your ‘pack of wolves’ on WordPress.
- Post something special for all of your nominees separately and dedicate it to them. This can be a quote, saying, poem, picture, anything you think that would fit that person.
- Let the nominees know that you’ve nominated them.
My Nominees:
- L.Marie http://lmarie7b.wordpress.com/
- Tim http://frontrangescribbles.com/
- Georgia http://bastetandsekhmet.wordpress.com/
- Invisible Me http://iaminvisibleme.com/
- Pamela http://pamela984.wordpress.com/
Thank you all so much for your friendship and loyalty! I am proud to have you as my WordPress Wolfpack! Lots of love and a big wolfhug to all of you!

First of all, I want to thank all of you for your sweet comments when I told you all that I had to quit blogging for a little while. They really cheered me up and gave me strength to fight.
With this post, I am back, although maybe not yet blogging every day.
Last month I did my first update for the RCC. I also set some goals for myself for this month.
I have goals to improve myself as a human being and goals for becoming a writer.
Goals last month to improve Myself
- Do another post about myself
- Try to get some help with the PTSD
- Have fun with friends without worrying all the time that they are going to leave me
- Show some more feelings (not just the strong, happy ones)
Well, I managed to accomplish three of the goals. I did another post about myself, you can read it HERE if you didn’t read it yet. I had fun with friends and worked on my trust issues (still need a lot of work there) and I am learning to show my true self more and more.
I haven’t found some help with the PTSD yet, mostly because my life is just insanely busy at the moment, but also because I am not ready yet. I will put this goal on my list for next month.
Goals of writing:
- Keep on writing poetry and poetrics
- Start writing a short story
- Write another duet with someone
- Learn a new poetry style (I really don’t know anything about poetry styles!)
- Start the editing on my second book
Of this goals I achieved three of. I am still writing poetry and poetrics, I did start writing a short story, you can find the first episode HERE and I am busy writing a duet with my dear brother.
I haven’t found the time this month to learn a new poetry style yet, so I will put that on the list for next month. I also didn’t start editing my second book yet, because my co-readers are taking it easy. So I will put that one also on the list for next month.
Altogether, I am a little disappointed that I didn’t managed to complete all of my goals, but I am working on them and I did had a few setbacks, so it’s not all bad.
Goals for next month:
Writing:
- Start with the final editing of my first book. (with help of the publisher, how exiting!)
- Learn a new poetry style (I really don’t know anything about poetry styles!)
- Start the editing on my second book (I hate editing!)
Myself
- Schedule a little ‘me time’
- Try to get some help with the PTSD
- Try not to doubt when someone says that they love me
Lots of Love,
Patty
