On Throwback Thursdays I want to share some older Poems and Posts of me.

Poetrics is a combination of lyrics from some of my favorite songs and poetry I write inspired by these songs. I take the essence of the song, the meaning it has, and write a poem on that. Then I let the lyrics of the song dance through the poem.
Note: The lyrics always stay the property of the band or artist who wrote them. All the credit goes to them.
My Poetry is written in Italic, the Lyrics are written Bold.

Fire
 –
Nothing can temper the fire
That blazes inside of me
Powerful and relentless
It burns wild and free
 –
With flames of determination
I will achieve my goal
Forceful and ruthless
It burns inside my soul

The heat will leave its mark
On anyone who tries to stop me
Hopeful and careless
It burns so fiercely
 –
No one can control the fire
That surrounds my spirit
And if you would ever try
You’ll wish you never did…
