Happy Halloween everyone!

Halloween

Creatures of the night

 Come play until the morning light

 Sneaking through the woods

 Strolling into the neighborhoods

 

 Beasts of the moon

 Awakening out of doom

 Come out of your hiding place

 There are lots of people to chase

 

 Monsters of evil

 Arise, there’s blood to spill

 It’s time to celebrate, my dear

 Like we only can once a year

 

 So come, my beloved pets

 Let’s hunt without regrets

 Be scary, foul and mean

 Because tonight it’s Halloween…

Like a Raven

My mind has been dark for a long time

Like a Raven’s feathers

Maybe it’s time to let go

Get the burden of my shoulders

 

A heart lost in the shadows

Like a Raven circling around

Maybe I need to get back up

Turn my life around

 

My thoughts have been swirling

Like a Raven in full flight

Maybe it’s time to take control again

Start a new fight

 

A soul captivated and sad

Like a Raven with a broken wing

Maybe I should set it free

Take a chance on healing

 

My feelings have been locked away

Like a Raven who can’t touch the sky

Maybe I should open my heart again

Stop living on stand-by

 

So, I will spread my dark wings

Like a Raven in the night

Maybe I will fly instead of fall today

And everything will be alright…

Amazing Blogger!

Hey everyone!

I would like to introduce you to a very special woman.

Her name is Lucie.

You might remember that we lost Marvin, our little stepbrother, earlier this year. Lucie is his mother and she has decided to join WordPress after hearing so many good things from me about you guys.

A little about Lucie:

Lucie or Luuze and Omi Strawberry to my grandchildren.

I`m a little crazy and I love life.

                                                      Last year, was one of trials and turbulence, but at the moment I`m trying to get back track.                                             

My son Marvin, 25 years old, found himself battling the inevitable.                                                                

Maybe there are more people who have, or had, this struggle, knowing there comes  a day you have to say goodbye to your child.

My English isn’t that good, sorry for that, but I do hope to meet you on my blog anyway.

The Real Me        

 –

My mask charmed you

But you don’t like what’s underneath

The real me

Who sometimes can barely breathe

 

I tried to be gentle

Protect you from the horror in my life

The real me

Who is always trying to survive

 

Bit by bit, I showed you who I am

But you didn’t like what you saw

The real me

Damaged, but proud and raw

 

So many years gone by

And you gave up without a fight

The real me

Eventually she will be alright

 

To keep myself, I had to lose you

But it did break my fragile heart

The real me

Made us drift apart

 

My mask charmed you

It’s the real me you don’t want to see

But you know

Just Me is all I really want to be…
