Suffering

I am

Drowning

In memories

Everything

Black and white

Shadows

Taking over me

My heart

Breaking

Aching

I am hiding

Deep inside

Where

The shadows

Are

Swallowing me

Can’t escape

Or

Find the light

I am blind

Blinded

By shadows…

Silently crumbling

Falling apart inside

Having trouble breathing

I’m hurting!

Memories, sharp as blades

Feelings I try to hide

 –

Silently crying

With a smile on my face

Inside, I am dying

I’m fading!

Lost in the darkness

Drifting through space

 –

Silently breaking

Into a million pieces

I keep falling

I’m bleeding!

Just wish I could forget

A mind burned to ashes

 –

Silently drowning

In a sea of unshed tears I shout

I am choking

I’m aching!

Just want to end it

But… I can’t find a way out

Madly

Insanely

Unexpectedly

Have you as my own

I shouldn’t let you live

kiss you

But I shouldn’t

Should have left you

But I couldn’t

because you are still

Under my skin and

Why can’t I just

Forget you

Walk away from you

Why

Feel you

Soft and gentle

They escape my unwilling lips

Like a tiny waterfall

Unstoppable

They fall

One last call

To you

Hesitatingly

Honestly

Words from the heart

The soul

Whisperings

Almost musical

Like a soft summer rain

Little drops of love

Of pain

Uncatchable

They fall

From my trembling lips

Against my will

Just four little words

Who am I?

Who am I to you?

Am I nothing more than a memory?

Just a person who you used to know

Do you ever even think of me?

 

Who am I to you?

Did you forget all about me?

Or am I still on your mind

Why are you hiding so silently?

 

Who am I to you?

I don’t know what I meant to you

Was your love even real?

Were your feelings and promises true?

 

Who am I to you?

Am I someone you love and miss?

Did you even meant what you said?

Because if so, how could it end like this?

 

Who am I to you?

I guess I know the answer to that

Since you turned your back on me so easily

I am the most stupid friend you ever had…

Photograph

The numbness

In my eyes

Dead

Inside

But breathing

Pretended smiles

Faking it all

Pain

Inside

But laughing

Pretended joy

Playing a part

Lost

Inside

But calm

Pretended feelings

Closed off heart

Desperation

Inside

But no one saw

Pretended to be alright

Just fine

Flashback

Tripping over a memory

Falling into anxiety

Running off track

Getting stuck in a flashback

 

The darkness imprisoning me

Drowning in insanity

I can’t get out

The music is getting too loud

 

Fighting fierce and desperately

But I can’t break free

Getting hit by the past so hard

Right now, I slowly fall apart

 

Hiding my thoughts secretly

It’s just a memory

I am fading, slipping

But still, I am whispering:

–

A Wilderness of such

lovely confusion

yet, you take it all in

Stars too high to touch

but

Still you reach to win

Not seeing it’s all

An illusion

This dark heart of mine tells a story of

glorious deception

and

Sin

I break everything to get where I

belong

Still I play innocent in this lullaby

song

and I give nothing but

Riddles

to those who come close

I’m like a poisonous black Rose

Sting

The ones that touch my heart

I’ll stop the bleeding with another kiss

Although a scar will remain

And the poison gets under your skin

You believe my lies

And

I drive you insane

Dark Realm

–

A path of lingering thoughts

Curling and bending

Darkening and frustrating

But impassive on the outside

Wandering interruptions

Dark woods of misbehavior

Demons of immortality

My nightmarish reality

Rebounding of insanity

Be welcome to stay if you dare

But only if you can handle an abusive mind

Decorations of grief

Denying ability

Never ending abnormality

I am bound to this earth

With broken, black wings

Unable to fly

There’s nowhere to go

My mind is a dark realm

From which no one ever returns…

A Raven’s Musings

~

Black feathers, black wings

Of a lonely death he sings

Is it always mischief he brings?

Listening to the Raven’s musings

 –

Dark thoughts, dark night

Anxiously waiting for daylight

He spreads his wings at midnight

What a glorious sight

 –

Shady plans, shady intentions

The Raven’s unknown missions

Or are these just assumptions?

Silently, the Darkness awakens

 –

Obscure words, obscure whispering

I can hear a maiden begging

For a peaceful, painless ending

Death can be a blessing

 –

Sinister bird , sinister beauty

His dark appearance sets me free

A voice filled with melancholy

Listening, to the Raven calling me
