–

I was lost

Roaming an empty life

Locked inside

My own mind

Just trying to survive

 

I was numb

Paralyzed by the past

Captured in

A painful abyss

Living as an outcast

 

I was broken

Shattered to painful pieces

Scattered over

No man’s land

Burned to ashes

 

Along came you

Persistently searching for me

Reaching out

Touched my soul

Rescued by a one man army

  4. Patty, Danny is “A one man army” in your life & will always be. I can tell from what I read/see from photos of him/hear in his poetry “the quiet man” that Danny is who is there for you, who helps you see life clearer, who helps you see yourself, who helps you understand others. His “under-the-radar” approach is his strength as he moves through these years with you, the stealth soldier, always there, whatever you need, whatever it takes. And that wedding photo above is the best, says it all, bound together in need for one-another & in the double strength that only two people in love can create. Happy 9th Wedding Anniversary to Patty & Danny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Phil

      He truly is my One man army. He isn’t that quiet in real life though 😉 Hahaha!
