Now that you’re gone…

We used to connect so easily

Souls who seemed to know each other

But now that you’re gone

Now that you’re gone

I just feel empty

And I can’t move on

 –

We used to talk for hours about everything

Like we were friends since forever

But now that you left me

Now that you left me

I can’t feel anything

Can’t even be angry

 –

We used to make each other laugh

Even when times were dark

But now that you stay silent

Now that you stay silent

I never smile enough

It’s not that important

 –

We used to love without boundaries

Hearts beating as one

But now that you went away

Now that you went away

I only have my memories

And I think of you everyday…
