*Warning: contains a bit of strong language*
People always seem surprise me, either good or bad…
Just take this for example:
Some people are trying to convince me that it’s not right to tell my friends that I love them or send them hearts.
Say what now? How can loving your friends and showing them be a bad thing?
Love is supposed to be good right?
Well, not according to everyone it seems…
You see, I’m a girl. (no really lol) And there are people who think I should not tell my male friends that I love them.
Supposedly, it’s okay to tell my girl friends that I love them, but not my guy friends. Unless they are gay. Then I can.
Okay, you lost me there. I just don’t get it.
So, of course, people will try to explain this to me. If you don’t get it either, pay attention!
I can’t tell my guy friends that I love them or send them hearts because I will give them the wrong idea. I will come across as a slut or whatever. (pardon my language, I just try to explain this the way it was explained to me)
Well, this confused me even more. In my opinion, there are a lot of different kinds of love. Saying that you love someone doesn’t mean that you are IN LOVE with that person and the last time I checked the dictionary, it didn’t say ‘I love you equals I want to have sex with you’.
But I could be wrong of course!
I am happily married and my hubby doesn’t have a problem with me hanging out with my guy friends, so why the hell should anyone else?
The thing is, I believe that there can never be enough love in the world. Spreading hate doesn’t seem to be a problem these days, so why be upset when I spread a little love around?
I love my husband, I love my family AND I love my friends!
There is not one person in the world who can change my mind about this. I think that it’s good to tell people who you love them and I don’t care if they are girls or guys, gay or straight, black or white or purple for that matter!
If I love you, I will tell you.
And if that makes me a slut or people get confused by it, that’s fine by me.
Because you see, it’s not my problem!
It’s their fucked up view at the world, not mine.
Don’t try to poison my mind and heart with that stuff. I am who I am, deal with it.
Lots of LOVE,
