  1. Congratulations on your published book today. It’s fantastic that out of your pain, you choose to help others. It’s amazing. You are such a special person. xx

  2. Thank you for the update, Patty. Glad to hear you’re healing physically, and are taking the steps to not only take care of yourself mentally and emotionally, but to continue sharing your journey with others so that they, too, may begin healing. Blessings to you, my friend. (And CONGRATULATIONS on the book release!)

    • Thank you Laura.
I am trying, but these past couple of weeks has been hard.
It’s like I don’t really know how to feel. I should be happy about my second fantasy novel, but instead I just feel drained of all emotion.
      It takes time, I guess.
      Love & Hugz ❤

      • It takes time, my friend. You know part of it is that everything else seems surreal at times. You remain, daily, in my heart, my thoughts, my prayers. Much love your way. xoxo

  3. So VERY glad to hear you are on the mend. I am so in awe of your strength Patty. Keep getting better and all the success in the world to you with the new book. You are an amazing talent.

  4. You wrote a book … and it’s being published in my home country … you surprise me.
I am happy to read that your wounds are healing. Hopefully your mental state is getting better, too. I’m looking forward to that book of yours. Keep on blogging and writing in a free world and keep us posted.
Have a prophet-able day – The False Prophet

    • You are Dutch? 🙂
      That’s cool!
Yes, I have published 3 books now, the 4th will be publish on March 16th and that will be my second fantasy novel in Dutch.
You can find the information about my fantasy books on my Dutch site: http://www.pattyvandelft.com
The other two are dark poetry books and written in English, those you can find here.
I am healing, almost better now. My state of mind is a bit of a mess still, but that takes time I guess.
      Lots of Love ❤

      • Yes, I am Dutch and a teacher of English. I will look into the books later as I don’t have time now. Thanks for the reply. In time all wounds will heal, though it might leave some scars. Scars make for great stories, though. Keep on writing and blogging in a free world! And you’re always welcome here, to read and talk. – The False Prophet

      • Thank you.
        A teacher? I was a Remedial Teacher before I became a writer. 🙂
Scars definitely make stories, I guess that I became a writer because of that.
Some wounds will heal with time, but others will remain forever.
        Lots of Love

      • Remedial teacher, undervalued and underpaid. They are much needed. Did you stop to become a writer? Or did you stop and then became a writer. I do so hope the wounds are bearable. Take good care of yourself (and of others). Lots of Love back at ya

      • Unfortunately, I had to stop because of various health issues. Luckily, I can always write, even when I am sick.
I loved being a teacher and I never stopped helping children when I can. But I love being a writer too, it gives me a chance to share something of myself with the world.
        Love & Hugz ❤

      • It’s a pity you had to stop. Is your health going to allow you to go back one day? Helping kids feels so good, doesn’t it?
Here we are having a conversation in English, while we are both Dutch and have a beautiful language to converse in. Have a prophet-able day. Love n Hugs, right back at ya.

      • Yes, I wasn’t happy about it either.
No, I can’t ever go back to teaching. The conditions I have are chronic and they are hard to keep stabile.
But I did find a new purpose in my life and if that doesn’t work out, I will find another. I am not the giving up type. 😉
Hahaha, yes. I would almost forget how to write in my own language! 🙂
        Fijne dag en veel liefs!

      • I’ve got some problems that are chronic, too, but I hope to be back in business starting the new school year. Never give up hoop. Hoop doet leven, right? Heel veel sterkte en liefs,
        The False Prophet

  5. So glad you’re healing Patty. Do hope your new blog takes off really well. Any chance of your novels being done in English as well? I would love to read one. anyway, off to check out your new blog. Take care sweetheart and stay strong. 🙂

    • Thank you Kev!
      I am trying for sure.
There are plans to translate the books to English. As soon as I know more, I will let you know of course! 🙂
      Hugz & Love ❤

      • Don’t give up, Patti, no matter what. You can do this!

Please do let me know… I love fantasy and your books look great. We could do another interview on your fantasy novels too if you do. 😀

  6. I am happy to see you in my reader again:). I have been thinking about you. Take it easy – concussions can be quite devilish to overcome. Rest. Xxxxx

  7. Patty, Keep on healing! You sound well!!! I am even more excited this time around with the upcoming launch of your second novel! It really says that you are, indeed, an established author to progress & go forward with your trilogy like this!!! You call it rest but while doing so you have launched a new PTSD blog & Facebook page……..but I know why….this is part of the kind of rest & recoil you needed. –All the best wishes in all you do as always! Phil

    • Thank you Phil.
Yes, my wounds are (except for the concussion) all healed now.
My mind and emotions are still bothering me, but that will heal too with time.
Yes, hahaha, I needed to do something! I am very bad in doing nothing at all lol!
      Hugz & Love ❤
