  1. This is a great post Patty. I teach for the NHS and a fellow Tutor teaches recovery from PTSD, has has been through it himself and is still trying to manage some symptoms, while helping others. He is amazing.

  2. Reblogged this on The Eclectic Poet and commented:
An excellent piece about PTSD that dispells some common myths about this very real and often misunderstood disorder.
Having this is terrible and isolating, Sharing this helps bring it out of the dark.

  3. Thanks Patty, It still hurts to see how many people just don’t understand this thing, and it may be selfish, but I’m really tired of trying to explain. 😦

    • I know. It’s hard to understand for people who don’t know how it is to live with PTSD.
And it’s frustrating to always have to correct people.
      Hugz & Love ❤

  4. Patty, Hope you find my encouraging comments about this your latest PTSD educational outreach. There I talked of your Fables & Facts approach as so effective! You are helping many people. I just know it! Phil

  5. Patty, Fables & Facts format for your PTSD continuing education really adds some clout/impact on the reader!!! Dispelling the Fables holds out great hope to those who suffer so. And the Facts give people confidence to face what they experience with self-understanding!!! I know you will keep your PTSD efforts going & going! You ARE making a big difference for manny people! Phil
