Every week I want to share an amazing blogger with you all, so you can check out their blogs and maybe make some new friends!
All of these bloggers have amazed me with their art, kind heart, friendship and skills.
You ready? Here we go!
A little about Lisa
My name is Lisa. I am a woman who is a wife, to Johnny Ojanpera, and a mother of four girls. The last pregnancy almost claimed my life. It ended in an emergency c-section and extensive nerve damage. I spent a year of my life learning to walk and talk again. My life was almost claimed again recently when a bad case of pneumonia turned into ARDS. This has drastically changed my outlook on life.
Often random, I will jump from poetry, op-eds, blogs or gonzo journalism. I speak the truth and offend without meaning to at times. Mainly, I give what I have to offer and I hope you enjoy my writing, art and photography.
My desire is to give out as much hope and encouragement as I can along this path of life that we all share.
Lisa is an awesome blogger and a very kind soul. She writes beautiful poetry but also blogs about other things as well.
One of my favorite poems by her:
We learned, oh how we learned
We learned of pain and sorrow
We learned of thickening our skin
We learned what jackyls really were
And we grieved, we grieved for life
We grieved for the desolation of the land
We grieved for the loss of intelligence
We grieved for the death of the muse
Then we dried our tears and sat in silence
And we listened and we heard it on the wind
And we grasped hands holding our breath
Then the light did shine and we laughed
And we felt it, we felt its warmth in the air
It was hope. And we danced and we lived
We lived life to the fullest be it dark or light
And we knew it was worth it to us brave few

To me, Lisa is an awesome blogger because she touches your heart with her words and her sweet personality. She is honest and real, something I value very much!
Dear Lisa, this is for you!
Lots of Love
