Patty, Looking at you in this photo & I am supposed to try not to put you on a pedestal ???? Ah, a Masters Degree! Yes, for some of us to lie is difficult. Do you think, though, that even we as honest people lie some?…..It may be just by omission to those we love…..like less than honest. PURE HONESTY may not exist. So back to your GREAT QUOTE: I’ll lie by omission & work my way up to The World Class fibbers called my friends!!! HA! 4 days to Italy….. Phil

You are right, we all may twist the truth sometimes when we say things like: ‘That’s such a lovely dress you’re wearing!’ While we may think like: ‘I don’t like that color at all!’ But that’s okay because it’s a twist of truth to keep feelings from getting hurt. But the Dutch are very straight forward, we say things like they are. I am used to that and I like it! 🙂
