Attached again

Like we never let go

Maybe it’s because

We just needed room to grow

Back together

Like we’ve never been apart

Maybe it’s because

I’ve always kept you in my heart

Complete again

Like a missing piece finally found

Maybe it’s because

I’m a little lost without you around

–

Pain vanishing

Like a wound that was never even there

Maybe it’s because I need you

Just like I need the air

–

Calm again

Like I need you to feel whole

Maybe it’s because

You really are my twin soul
