My big sister Lia made me so very proud today!
She showed what Christmas is really all about.
This is a time that’s hard on all of us because of the economy. Many are struggling to make it by.
So is one of our cousins. She had to have a knee surgery and for her recovery, she has to get physiotherapy for about half a year.
But she has to pay for the first 20 (!) treatments herself, because she could only afford basic insurance.
What’s up with this world?
If you can only afford basic insurance, how the hell are you supposed to pay for 20 treatments?
Anyways, my big sister decided to start a fundraising for our cousin to make sure she can get the treatment she needs.
And although my sister has a very rough time herself, she also made the first donation and works all day to try and get more donations.
Talk about angels!
I already loved my sister to death, but because of her caring for people in need while struggling herself, I love her even more!
My dear sister, I am so proud of you! You are a huge example for me and many others!
This diamond poem is for you.
Love ya, always!
If anyone here wants to help, you can make a donation right HERE and make a young woman very happy!
Lots of Love,
Patty
We did make it!! our coussin can get all of her treatments.. So very happy!!
And my sweet little sis I love you …. but you knew that right xxxx
Yeey!!!! Me = happy! 🙂
And yes I know. ♡
Love you too! ♥
Drove tears to my eyes. So touching and wonderful, Patty.
I’d love to donate, but we, my son and I, are honestly also struggling to finish the month somehow. Here in Israel prices have gone up extremely (today I paid over one Euro for an average sized cabbage head. I don’t know the prices in Europe [should ask my mom and sis living in Germany] but I think that’s extremely much. And my salary has gone down, yes yes, down. So I’m spending many additional hours working in translation from home. Hugs, Heila
Thank you Heila.
I know. I think the economy is a disaster everywhere right now. Prices go up, salaries go down.
But thank you so much for your kind words, positive thoughts are worth a million! 🙂
Lots of love and hugz
Patty
HUGS back!
Love is awesome, Patty. Sisterly love the best! My baby sister is Leah.
True words! 🙂
Leah? That sounds almost the same as Lia, my big sister! 🙂
Lots of love to you both. ♡
That’s what I thought. Lia and Leah are similar.
Good for her, Patty, nice to see love matters most.
Thank you Richard! 🙂
Hugz ♥
You are right, you have a wonderful sister. Wish you are able to collect a lot of money for your cousine. Real Christmas minding.
