The end of all starts with a hush,
Sun slowly sinking without any rush.
The ocean becalmed, no wind in the air,
Not even a breath to stir raven hair.
I offer my hand to the woman I love;
She accepts with a smile, my beautiful dove.
And there as the sunlight starts to collapse
The world takes a bow and loosens the straps
That held it together for infinite time,
And we slowly dance to our own silent rhyme.
We waltz into darkness as the world finally fails
Not caring to look, knowing love will prevail.
We spin for our future, we twirl for our past,
And clasp each other tightly in our decadent dance.
As oxygen falters and life passes away
We fall to the sand as though mimicking play,
And die held together in blissful embrace
The final two citizens of a dead human race.
