I wanted to share my favorite poem with you today. It’s a poem written by my brother of heart and he dedicated it to me. I must have read it about a thousand times the last couple of weeks and when our house is finally done, I am going to frame it and give it a nice spot in the living room.
Have you ever met a person
Who made you enjoy life
Someone who made the darkness run
A new friend who abolished the pain
This new acquaintance made the rain turn to Champagne
A person so Kind And Distinguished
it’s hard to accept what you are feeling is not a Fairy Tale
A shadow of what we wish and dream we could find
A gift from god and a present to this world
You Rescued me from damnation
You grabbed my heart and shocked it back to life
I now understand the Myth
Love is Real and so are Angels
I miss you and I love you bro.
I have met this person, that Shane wrote about
32 years ago she calls her self my little sis
xx laffoe
Thanks sis. 🙂
I love you very much too! ♥
He thought a lot about you Patty x
And to be fair, If I were him I would write the same, so would many others…
You have that appeal on people, you ooze love..
Thank you for sharing something so personal..
But you know this is part of the healing process, you are forcing yourself to hurt to grieve and this is a good thing. x
Always here for you
Shaun x
Thank you my dear friend for your support and kind words again.
I just have to share and grief, I don’t know how I will be able to go on otherwise. But it will be better. I know that.
Lots of love X
You are doing the right thing by talking and getting it out your system., Keeping it in would be bad…
Lots of love.

His work was always excellent.
Yes, I agree. He was amazing. As a poet and as a friend. Lots of love
What a lovely poem. And placing it in your home is a great way to honor his memory.
It really is lovely and I will honor him every way I can think of. Hugz
Such a beautiful loving poem, it most certainly deserves a place of honor on your wall.
Yes it does, my friend. Hugz
A loving poem. I think it will look great framed and on a wall.
I think so too. Although I am still very sad and miss Shane so much, this poem reminds me of the magic and beauty of our friendship. I have to remember that and not only the grief. Hugz
The memory of that will help minimize the grief to a point where it doesn’t hurt.
It will be less, but it will always hurt. Some wounds never completly heal. But I know the pain will fade. In time.
True. I hope your pain fades quickly and you focus on the fond memories. That’s really all we truly have.
Thank you. I hope it will as well. True words. Hugz
such a beautiful poem and a beautiful thought to put it in your living room.
I’m sure it will look good and fit perfectly in you’re new home!
Love you ❤
Thank you my sweet Belletje. Love you 2 ♥
